The Pro option is a factory upgrade that turns your Joué Play into a MPE MIDI controller.
The Joué Play app is available on Windows (min. 8.1), macOS (min. 10.11) & iPadOS (min. 10.3).

If you are the owner of a Joué Pro (now discontinued), you can use the Joué Play application with your so-called "instrumental" Pro Pads: Pro Matrix, Pro Synth, Pro Fretboard, Pro Grand Clavier, Pro Grand Fretboard, Pro Scaler. Each pad will however be its equivalent of the Play version in the application.
The color difference is purely aesthetic. Note that having 8 different Play Pads allows you to have 8 different instruments within the project. (1 Pad Play = 1 instrument/track).
Yes, the Joué Play is a MIDI controller, so it works with all MIDI compatible softwares.
Not for now. The app is meant to be used with the Joué Play only.
No, this is not planned for now. The audio latency remains too high to ensure a correct playing experience.
Yes, this is possible on iPadOS and macOS only. If you have a USB hub, you can connect several Play Boards to the same device. Note that the Joué Play application can host up to 8 Play Boards simultaneously.
Joué Boards are powered by USB port. They do not contain a battery.
Not yet. We plan to develop bluetooth accessories that will allow you to play wirelessly.
We recommend connecting your speaker with a cable rather than bluetooth to avoid any latency that could disrupt the playing experience.
Not yet, this is a feature that will come in future versions of the app.
No, the Pro Pads are meant to be used with the old version of the Pro Board only. They are not compatible with the Joué Play Pro Option.
Yes, the Joué Play is compatible with the Joué Editor but its features are limited. To be able to set up all the MIDI messages sent by the Joué Play, go to Pro option.
MPE is a complex MIDI protocol that requires specific skills to be used correctly. To take advantage of the MPE feature, go to Pro option.
Yes. When purchasing a Play Pack or Play Board, you will get USB C to Apple lightning and USB C to USB A adapters.
